Gordon Medlock

Mr. Gordon Christopher Medlock, age 31, passed away Sunday evening, October 11, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, October 17 at 2 PM at New Harvest Family Church. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, October 17 from 12-2 PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born April 4, 1984 in Kansas City, Missouri, Gordon was the son of Mrs. Vanessa Holmes Medlock and the late Mr. Gordon Medlock and husband of LeAnna Fischer Medlock. He graduated MTSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and was employed as a manager for The Hertz Corporation. He was also a member of the New Harvest Family Church in Columbia. In addition to his mother and wife, Gordon is survived by his Paternal Grandmother: Mimi Medlock of Kansas City, MO; Aunts: LoEsther Holmes Tinsley of Atlanta, GA, Winona Holmes (Carl) McCullen of Columbia, Karen Holmes (Kenneth) Harris of Atlanta, GA, Beth Medlock Hunter of Houston, TX, and Jacqeline Medlock of Kansas City, MO; Uncles: LaVelle Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Reginald (Deann) Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Edward (Charlene) Holmes of Ladson, SC, Byron (Gloria) Holmes of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Victor (Naomi) Holmes of Richcrest, CA, Robert Holmes of Atlanta, GA, and Shaun (Ebonay) Holmes of Atlanta, GA; and a host of cousins and other relatives. In addition to his father, Gordon was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother: LoEsther Holmes Williamson; Aunts: Rosemary Holmes Aytch and Paula Holmes, and Uncles: Stanley Harrel and Roger Medlock.
