Paul David Chinn, age 43, husband of Libby Warren Chinn and a Columbia resident, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at his home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Roachelle officiating. The family will receive family and friends for a visitation on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Pallbearers include Ernie Balcueva, Chris Brunner, Eddie Chinn, Brian Crue, Nick Dodge, Joe Hogan, Curt McArthy, David Roachelle, Tyler Warren, and Scott Wood. Born April 7, 1972 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Paul was the son of Ed and Joanne Chinn. He was a Senior Research Analyst for Optum Healthcare in Franklin. Paul was also an author, writing for various magazines and websites. He was working on a book at the time of his death. Paul was a vital part of a local church, Gate Ministries; a wonderful husband, loving son, devoted brother and uncle, and a devout friend. Paul also loved movies, gaming, playing cards, the Denver Broncos, and fantasy football. His presence always seemed to produce joy and laughter. In addition to his wife and parents, Paul is survived by one brother, Eddie (Myra) Chinn of Dacula, GA; one sister, Amy (Curt) McArthy of Columbia; paternal grandmother, Mary Chinn of Pratt, Kansas; nephews, Nathan McArthy, Briggs Warren, Payt Warren, Turner Warren; nieces, Bethany Freeling, Ashley Chinn, Jessica Chinn, Crystal Chinn, Abby McArthy, Emma McArthy, Ellie McArthy; and numerous aunts and uncles. His paternal grandfather, Jack Chinn, and his maternal grandparents, Joe and Jewell Geffert, preceded him in death.
