Mr. Terry L. Hill, age 67, husband of Nancy Hill, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Columbia, Terry was born on February 15, 1948 and was the son of the late Robert Hill and the late Sally Johnson Hill. He was employed as Nissan as a project manager for 25 years until he retired. Terry was also a former employee of Monsanto. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the beach. He was an avid UT football fan as well as a Nascar fan. Terry enjoyed old cars, and he often enjoyed cooking. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his wife, Nancy of 36 years, he is survived by his sons: Brian (Freda) Hill of Lebanon, Shawn Ragan of Murfreesboro, Nathaniel (BethAnn) Hill of Murfreesboro, Chris (Ginger) Brooks of Murfreesboro; brothers: Jim (Nancy) Hill of Los Angeles, CA, Gene Hill of Hohenwald, Don Hill of Nashville; grandchildren: Cortney Moore, Ashley Hill, Robert Hill, Katherine Ragan, Justin (Cassie) Ragan, Josh (Ellie) Ragan, Hayden Ragan, Austin Luck, Jacqueline Singleton, Christian Brooks, Lane Brooks, Aaron Brooks; great-grandchildren: Hayden Bolton, Easton Cole, Luca Ragan; special brother-in-law: Danny (Clara) Gipson; and his beloved dog and constant companion: Sasha. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter: 1233 Mapleash Ave, Columbia, TN 38401.
