September 21, 1942 - October 2, 2015

Mary Frances "Tasy" Lunn Bolton, age 73, life-long resident of Maury County, died Friday, October 2, 2015, at Maury Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 5, 2015 at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with Reverend Calvin Lunn and Reverend Michael Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Bolton was the daughter of the late Willis and Dot Lunn, and was born September 21, 1942. She grew up in the Sowell Mill Pike community and graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1960. She was a member of Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. After graduation, she was first employed by TN Farm Bureau, then the TN State Department of Education, and later at Maury Regional Hospital as a medical transcriptionist, from which she retired in 2013. Mrs. Bolton inherited her mother's love for flowers and enjoyed piddling in her yard. However, her greatest pleasure came from her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she devoted her time, energy and life to them. She is survived by her son, Dana Kyle Bolton; grandsons, Cody Kyle Bolton and Blake Matthew Bolton; granddaughter, Brooklyn Dana Bolton; and great grandchildren, Hayden Kyle Bolton, Aaron Ryan Bolton, Ariel Kate Bolton, Mitchell Dale Staggs and Zachary Matthew Staggs. She is preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Lunn (James-deceased) Connelly and Ivie Lunn (Frank-deceased) Harris, and two brothers, Herbert (Mildred-deceased) Lunn and Andy Lunn. She is survived by four sisters, Edith Lunn (Grady-deceased) Sharp, Betty Lunn (Gordon-deceased) Lentz, Martha Lunn Jones, Pamela Lunn (Michael) Davis, and sister-in-law Wanda Lunn. Mrs. Bolton kept abreast of political issues and had a great love and concern for our country. She also had a unique, matter of fact sense of humor, and brought much laughter and many smiles to her son, grandchildren and siblings right to the end of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and loved ones. Pallbearers will be nephews, Wayne Lunn, Randall Lunn, Tim Lunn, Terry Clymore, David Harris, Mark Sharp, Tommy Lentz, Thomas Lunn, Heath Lunn, Joshua Jones, and Jesse Conner.
