Lorene Holt

February 23, 1931 - September 19, 2015

Mrs. Lorene Holt, age 84, a loving wife and mother, died September 18, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 26, at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 210 Stone Brook Dr., Mt. Pleasant, TN 38474. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Lorene and her husband Bobby were happily married for almost 65 years and raised five children; Deb Jewell, Jan Carter, Beth (Gary) Kekich, Nick Holt, Nan (Tim) Weaver. Lorene had seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry Fulton Nicholson and Hattie Bell Nicholson. She is survived by one sister, Joann Wiss and two nieces. Lorene loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and family trips to the beach. She was especially happy to tell others about her beautiful hope for the future as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Lorene along with her family greatly appreciated the many prayers, love, comfort and support shown by neighbors, Dr. Gardner and the hospital staff and her wonderful spiritual family.
