Mrs. Paula Adelle Moore Brown, age 74, wife of Walton Lee Brown and a resident of Riverside Drive in Franklin, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015 at NHC Cool Springs. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Brentwood Baptist Church on Concord Road. Visitation will also be held on Saturday from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on July 14, 1941 in Nashville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Bonnie Martin Moore. She attended MTSU and TSU and earned her Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance. She was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church where she served on the Nurture Team, often making meals for people in need and she was redeemed at a Billy Graham Crusade in 1954. Paula enjoyed swimming, cooking, reading, traveling, and camping. She loved watching sports, especially the Tennessee Titans, UT Volunteers, Vanderbilt Commodores, and the Belmont Bruins. She is survived by her husband: Walton Brown; her sons: David Brown of Franklin, Don Brown of Nashville; daughter: Vicki (Tony) Ford of Murfreesboro; and sister: Bonnie (Jimmie) Lee of Cumberland Furnace. She was preceded in death by her brother: Paul Moore, Jr.; and her sister: Vivian Highsmith.
