Mr. David Williams, age 71, husband of Mary Williams, and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Monday evening, August 3, 2015 at home with his family A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 6 at 12 noon at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Buie officiating. Burial will follow at Haynes Cemetery with Everett Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 5 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born September 17, 1943, Mr. Williams was the son of the late Malcolm and Elora Hill Williams. He was a long time and well known Electrician and Electrical Inspector. He enjoyed working with his hands, building projects, the outdoors, family vacations, playing his guitar, fishing, and taking his dogs for walks. Out of all of his accomplishments, the greatest one of all was the love he had for his family. He is survived by his loving Wife: Mary Williams of Culleoka; Sons: David (Kerry) Williams, Jr. of Culleoka and Mark Williams of Nashville; Daughter: Rebecca Williams of Nashville; Brothers: James (Linda) Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, Malcomb Williams, Jr. ,and Charles Williams of Columbia; Sisters: Nita (Dan) Buie of Columbia, Shirley (William) Palmer of Summertown, Mildred Williams of Columbia, and Kathy Johnson of Columbia; Grandchildren: David (Elissa) Williams III and Cody Williams; and Great-Grandchildren: Peyton Folsom, Morgan Williams, and Emerson Williams. In addition, his best buddies: Rusty , his Jack Russell, and Lucky. Also, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his brothers, Murray Williams and Clyde Williams. Pallbearers will be David Williams III, Cody Williams, Justin Crumley, Kenny White, Tim Grizzard, Johnathan Delk, Johnathan Cothran, and Mark Vaughn.
