Mr. Scottie Wayne Fraizer, age 67, a resident of Columbia, passed away early Thursday morning, July 30, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life will be held on a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on August 4, 1947 in Lewisburg, Wayne was the son of the late Neill Fraizer and the late Irene Fishborne Yank. He was a veteran in the Army, serving two tours during the Vietnam War. He worked at Dalton's Lumber Company for twenty-six years, until he began working in maintenance at Cracker Barrel for ten years, where he retired. On December 16, 1989, Wayne married the love of his life, Betty Agee, where they spent many loving years together. He attended Bethberi Presbyterian Church in Lewisburg. During his spare time, he loved to mow the grass, spend time with his great-grandson, enjoyed fishing, and was an avid carpenter, where he would construct many different things out of wood. Out of all of his accomplishments, his biggest one was the love he had for his family. In addition to his wife, Betty, Wayne is survived by; Daughters: Julie (Allen) Johnsey of Lewisburg and Joy (Karen Ford) Talley of Dalton, Georgia; Brother: Marshall (Linda) Fraizer of Morristown, Pennsylvania; Aunt: Elizabeth Chapman of Lewisburg; Brother-In-Law: Charles Cervantes of Little Rock, Arkansas; Grandchildren: Brandi Nicole Walls and Jon Martin Walls; and Great-Grandson: Matthew Issac Walls. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Anita Cervantes, and brother, Bailey Yanks. Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
