Dr. Veena Anand, age 70, a resident of Hohenwald, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at her residence. Puja and Cremation Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at 3 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born September 23, 1944 in Dera Gazhi Khan, India, Dr. Anand was the daughter of the late Tulsi Das and Shanta Nangia Dhingra. She was employed as a Physician for many years. Dr. Anand is survived by; Daughters: Supriya (Vincent) de Koning of Spring Hill and Priya Anand of Hohenwald; Brothers: Harish Dhingra of New Delhi, India and Rajive Dhingra of Knoxville; and Grandchildren: Maya de Koning and Neel de Koning of Spring Hill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Dr. Virender Anand and Sons: Amar and Ravinder Anand.
