Helen Woodson

Helen Woodson, age 83, a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Signature Health Care. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 16 at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Maury County, Helen was the daughter of the late T.C. Alderson and TomAnna Porter. She was a devoted member of the Faith United Church. In her spare time, Helen loved to play bingo, watch her favorite soap operas, and watch western movies. She is survived by: her Devoted Cousin: Lula Bailey of Columbia, and many family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Woodson. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
