Eric Lucandalist Lyles transitioned to his heavenly home Saturday afternoon, July 4, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A homecoming celebration for Eric will held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on June 21, 1968 in Columbia, TN, Eric was one of two sons to Ms. Willie Jean Glenn. Eric's father was the late Mr. Roy "Stanley" Lyles. Educated in Maury County schools, Eric graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School in 1987. Eric Accepted Christ as his Lord at an early age and attended Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, but later after rededicating his life back to Christ, became a member of Carmack Blvd Church of Christ He was employed with Roger's Group for 24 years until his health started to fail him. Eric loved his family, loved all types of music, electronics, computers, and he really enjoyed laughing and telling stories. He loved keeping connected to everyone, near or far. Left to cherish his memory: his mother, Ms. Willie Jean Glenn of Columbia; daughter: Mi'Cherica C. Lyles of Columbia; brother: Trenton (Angela) Glenn of Lexington, SC; nephews: Quinton L. Northington (Jazmin, fiancé) of Clarksville; Jarron J. Glenn, Stephon L. Glenn, and D'Angelo J. Glenn all from Lexington, SC; two great-nieces: Calae and Caleis Northington; and one great-nephew: Calem Northington; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Zeb Jordon, Hollis Jordon, Robert Hardison, Andre McCoy and Andre Wisener. Flower girls will be his cousins.
