Mr. Malcolm "Pee Wee" Shouse, Jr., age 70, a resident of Roberts Bend Rd. in the Santa Fe community passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Sparkman Cemetery in the Boston Community of Williamson County. Military honors will be provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 13 from 4-8PM as well as one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Maury County, Mike was born on October 31, 1944 and was the son of the late Malcom R. Shouse, Sr. and Gracie Bell Underwood Rosson. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a graduate of the 1963 class of Santa Fe High School, where he was a part of one of the greater basketball teams. Mike worked for many years at Keith Baker Homes before transferring to Dollar General Store as a Manager, where he retired in 2005. As a part time hobby, Mike and his wife, Patricia, operated Nanny's Day Care from their home. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, going to McDonalds in the morning with his friends, going to yard sales and antiquing with his daughter, working in the garage with his son and grandson, and collecting antiques, marbles, cars, and many other things. He is survived by his son: Michael (LeiLani) Shouse of Columbia; Daughter: Angela Morton of Columbia; Brother: Jimmy (Judy) Shouse of Columbia; Grandchildren: Candice (Brent Smith) Boyd of Columbia, Parker Shouse of Santa Fe, Daniel Fox of Santa Fe, Katlyn Fox of Santa Fe; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Hargrove Shouse. Pallbearers will be Greg Shouse, Mike Shouse, Mark Shouse, Troy Hargrove, Trent Mitchell, Harold Wayne Hargrove, and Daniel Fox.
