Marion Purdy

February 28, 1932 - June 10, 2015

Marion E. Purdy, age 83, a resident of Nashville, formerly of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Greenhills Health & Rehabilitation Center. A private family inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Spring Hill Cemetery in Nashville. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Marion was born on February 28, 1932 in Shelby County, TN and was the daughter of the late James Warren and Embirn Dixon Purdy. She was of the Catholic faith and was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by her sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Billy J. Kim, Dr. John A. Williams, the 3rd Floor Staff and everyone else at Greenhills Health and Rehabilitation Center for their compassionate care and to Avalon Hospice for their help and guidance when it was time for her to go.
