Born on October 9, 1952, he was the son of the late Roy Lee "John Dee" Bradley and Frances Elizabeth Cole Bradley. He was a well known paint contractor in Newton and the surrounding area. Bruce will be remembered not only as a hard worker, but a helper to everyone and an honest person. He loved joking around, but it was always with a loving spirit and in good fun. When the conversation seemed dull, Bruce could pick a topic and get the conversation going. He never met a stranger and always willing to help when he could. In his free time, he loved fishing, hunting and working on anything that needed to be repaired. He loved just being outdoors and spending time with friends. Bruce is survived by his wife of 34 ½ years: Jean Armstrong Bradley; daughter: Emily McFall Bradley of Brandon, MS: 3 sons; Billy Wilson of Columbus, MS, Bruce Wayne Bradley of Caledonia, MS; Terry Lee (Beverly) Taylor of Caledonia, MS.; four grandchildren. He was the oldest of five siblings: Terry (Glenda) Bradley of Laird, TX, Janice Kaye (David) Hall of Columbus, MS, John David (Wanda) Bradley of New Hope, MS, Gary (Jan) Bradley of Columbus, MS and Roy Bradley of Columbus, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lake Christian Church in his honor.
