Roxie Robinson, age 89, and a resident of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday morning, May 6, 2015 at Countryside Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lawrenceburg. A graveside inurnment will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at 3:00 PM at West Side Cemetery in Giles County with Br. David Parr officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on May 2, 1926 in Lawrence County, Roxie was the daughter of the late John Carter and Pearl Mullican Smith. She worked as a homemaker the majority of her life. She is survived by her son: Roger Robinson of Leoma; sister: Martha Ramsey; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Noah Robinson; son: Byron Robinson; brothers: George M. Smith, Thomas Smith; sisters: Louise Davis and Bae Smith; and one great-grandchild.
