Mrs. Susan C. Collier, age 50, wife of Charles "Chuck" Collier, and owner of Zen Massage in Spring Hill, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 26th at 6pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Christy Buck and Keith Baker officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 3pm until the 6pm service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Susan was born December 27, 1964 in Flint, Michigan and was the daughter of Linda Lee Pfingston Farrell and the late Thomas Edwin Farrell. She graduated from Central High School in Flint, MI in 1984 where she was actively involved with the swim team. She married Chuck in 2001. She worked for General Motors in Michigan until 1991, and then transferred to the plant in Spring Hill until 2007. She then decided she wanted to continue working by doing something in which she had a passion. It was a great accomplishment when she opened Zen Massage in Spring Hill in 2009. One of her clients said "Susan was the most caring person of anyone he knew, and her life goal was to help others through her ability for therapeutic massage." She was the kind of person that was full of life because she was doing exactly what she wanted to do. In her free time, one of her favorite hobbies in which she was exceptionally talented was English horseback riding. She was an extremely happy person, a friend to everyone, and the most loving person you would ever meet. She was the person you never heard anyone say a negative thing about. Most of all, Susan loved her family. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Collier of Spring Hill, TN; mother: Linda Farrell of La Peer, MI; sons: Frank Prevette of Columbia, TN, and Nick Collier of Columbia, TN; daughter: Becka Prevette of Columbia, TN; brother: Tom (Kimberly) Farrell of Flint, MI; sisters-in-law: Mary (Kirby) Suhre of MI and Jennifer (Clint) Ramey of MI; nieces and nephews: James Orleans, Zeck Ramey, Chelsea Ramey, Breeanna Ramey, Rachel Farrell, and Tommy Farrell. She is also survived by 2 of her favorite dogs, Ruger and Izzy. Susan is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Farrell.
