Maria Flores Cruz, age 72, a resident of B Dodson Road in Columbia, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015 at her residence. The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on October 25, 1942 in Puerto Rico, Maria was the daughter of the late Victor Flores Coss and the late Augustina Cruz Ramos. She is survived by her son: Fernandin Flores Cruz of Puerto Rico; daughters: Blanca Stella Lopez of Florida, Angela Salazar of Columbia; brothers: Ismael Flores Cruz, Gerardo Flores; grandchildren: Caesar G. Perkins, Glory Marie Flores Santana, Jonathan Malave, Fernandin Jr. Flores Malave, Luis David Flores Malave, Stella Marie Santer Flores, Yesenia Santer Flores, Ivelise Santer Flores, and Daysi Santer Flores. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: Victor Manuel Flores; and sister: Carmen M. Flores Cruz.
