Mr. Edward Ogden, age 74, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday morning, April 9, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 4:00 PM at The Elk's Lodge in Lawrenceburg. A graveside inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Leoma with military honors provided by the United States Army. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on July 2, 1940 in Dayton, Ohio, Edward was the son of the late Alvia Pete and Wilda June Mullenix Ogden. He was of the Christian Faith, served his country in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne, and worked as a service technician for Sears Department Store. Edward was married to Darlene Elizabeth Ogden who preceded him in death in 2013. He had a caring heart and showed his passion for helping others by being a volunteer fireman. Edward worked for EMS and the Fire Department in Ohio and in Lawrenceburg, TN. He enjoyed fishing and would do it often. Edward was fishing the day before he passed away. He is survived by his daughters: Tina Kaye (Dale) Cole of Cabot, AR, Patty Dee (Israel) Granados of Lawrenceburg, Cathy Lee (Mark) Brown of Knoxville; son: John Chambers of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren: Aaron Cole, Ryan Cole, Lauren Chastain, Holly Brown; great-granddaughters: Talia Cole and Brandi Chambers; and several brothers and sisters.
