Marvin Ray Hood

January 19, 1958 - April 2, 2015

Mr. Marvin Ray Hood, age 57, resident of Culleoka, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence. A graveside inurnment will be held 5:00 PM Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 in the Santa Fe Cemetery with Keith Baker officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with their services. Born January 19, 1958 in Columbia, TN, he was the son of the late Fred Buford and Margaret Elizabeth Love Hood. Marvin worked for Challenger Homes and Baker Homes as carpenter for many years and he was of the Morman faith. Marvin is survived by his aunt: Nancy Hood Gray; uncle: Gary Hood; several cousins and good friends; special friends: Renee Mendez and Shelia Matthews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Linda Lou LaCroix, Howard Eugene Hood, Freddie Robert Hood, and Larry Buford Hood. The family would like to extend a special thanks to CARIS Hospice for the care and compassion they gave to Marvin.
