Denise Yvone Fogarty

September 23, 1957 - April 5, 2015

Mrs. Denise Yvone Fogarty, age 57, wife of Robert "Bob" Fogarty, and a resident of Chapel Hill, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 at Williamson Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Ann Bassett officiating. The family will also receive friends for visitation on Friday three hours prior to the service from 4:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on September 23, 1957 in Michigan, Denise was the daughter of Dorine Chisholm Furneaux and the late Fredrick Furneaux. She worked as a homemaker the majority of her life and was of the Lutheran faith. She attended Davenport University in Michigan where she received her degree in Accounting. Denise enjoyed making rugs and quilting, as well as traveling and collecting rocks. She also liked photography and shopping at antique stores. Denise loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Bob, of seventeen years and her mother, she is survived by her daughters: Jennifer Peterson of Clarksville, Danielle Peterson (Anthony) Greganti of Oakland, TN; grandchildren: Alexis Mezo and Arianna Olguin; brothers: Rick (Linda) Furneaux of Lapeer, MI, Chico (Lynette) Furneaux of Lapeer, MI; sisters: Sharon (Mark) Oslund of Lapeer, MI; foster brothers: Chris Kenyon of Lapeer, MI, Jeffrey (Christa) Miller Chisholm of Sugarland, TX, Bob (Marie) Paul of Milford, MI; and foster sister: Kirsten Senevey of Lapeer, MI. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Newsom, Leslie Bliss, her favorite son-in-law: Anthony Greganti, and her brothers and foster brothers.
