Ernest Wayne Faulkner, 49, resident of Santa Fe, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Andy Pogue officiating. Burial will follow in the Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 1st from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A masonic service will be held Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Ernest was born August 19, 1965 in Maury County and was the son of Ernest Junior Faulkner and Jewel Marie Connor Faulkner and the husband of Tina Steward Faulkner. He was a 1984 graduate of Santa Fe High School and graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology. He was a dedicated employee of Maury Amusement Company in Columbia for years, and then decided to open up his own successful business, Faulkner Electric in 1999. He also was a member of the Benton Masonic Lodge #111 in Santa Fe. In his spare time, he enjoyed motor bike riding and taking vacations with his family. He especially loved his dog Chanel. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughters: Kelly Savannah (Jo) Lambert and Heather Jean Faulkner, both of Santa Fe; Brother: David (Lisa) Connor of Columbia; father-in-law and mother in law: John Walker "J.W." Steward and Alma Jean Steward of Santa Fe; Brother-in-law: Clint (Kim) Steward of Santa Fe; niece: Jordan Steward; nephew: Colton Steward Ernest is preceded in death by a brother Thomas Boyd Faulkner; grandparents: Tom and Agnes Faulkner, and William Boyd and Ozenia Conner. Pallbearers will be Tracy Maxwell, Lane Warf, James Faulkner, Terry Thompson, Jerry Faulkner, Tim Laws, Johnny Cates, Todd Caskey, Willard Murphy, and Alan Faulkner. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Benton Masonic Lodge #111 and the Snow Creek Mercantile Breakfast Club. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the scholarship fund for his daughters at Community First Bank or to the Benton Masonic Lodge #111 in Santa Fe.
