Linda Knolton, age 61, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday morning, March 20, 2015 at NHC Hillview. The family will celebrate her life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on February 16, 1954 in Memphis, Tennessee, Linda was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marjorie Lyons. She was a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and a friend to many. She was a restaurant owner and a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed cooking, golfing and bowling, as well as the occasional margarita with her Mexican food. She was a lady with a huge heart. Linda was loved by all who knew her and she loved them right back. She especially loved her children and grandchildren and her beloved dog, Rex. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She fought a long hard battle and never gave up. She is survived by sons: Greg (Elizabeth) Knolton, Mike Knolton, Eric (LaNeeca) Knolton, all of Memphis; daughters: Kristian (Joey) Stewart of Columbia, Maggie (David) Lewis of Southaven, MS; brothers: Edward (Dianne) Lyons of Southaven, MS, Robert (Lisa) Lyons and Patrick (Carolynn) Lyons, of Memphis; sisters: Barbara (Jim) Goodmon of Raleigh, NC, Kathy (David) Hallock of Franklin; and grandchildren: Megan Stewart, Allie Knolton, Grace Stewart, Joseph Lewis, Noah Knolton, Cady Lewis, Elijah Lewis, and Brooke Knolton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Toma, and grandchild, Madison Lewis.
