Stephen Perez

Rev. Stephen Noel Perez, age 64, a resident of Haylong Avenue in Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ledbetter officiating. The family will also receive friends for visitation on Wednesday two hours prior to the service from 3:00 - 5:00 PM at the funeral home. An inurnment will be held in Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on December 25, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York, Stephen was the son of the late Stephen Vincent and Marie Eleanor Fenimore Perez. He worked as a self employed web designer and was a musician who enjoyed playing the organ. Stephen was also a writer, and he often enjoyed watching sports. He is survived by his children: Meah Perez of Kingston Springs, TN, Stephen Justin (Beth) Perez of Columbia, Ciarra Perez of Mt. Pleasant , Giovanni Perez of Mt. Pleasant; step-son: Ryan Donegan of Dickson, TN; and grandchildren: Joshua Perez Kuhlman, Seth Perez, and Alexandra Perez.
