Patrick Maley

Mr. Patrick James Maley, Sr., age 75, beloved husband of Mary Calise Maley, and resident of Spring Hill, passed away, Friday, January 23, 2015, at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Mathias officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Love in Maury Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on May 4, 1939, in Philadelphia, PA, Patrick was the son of the late Patrick Vincent and Anna Ferry Maley. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and worked as the executive vice president of operations for the John Wanamaker Corporation. He enjoyed fishing and gardening, as well as, making stained glass, genealogy, and was a car aficionado. He was the type of man you could depend on. His family and friends will remember him as an amazing husband, father, and friend. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving children: Caroline (Doug) Bossi of Los Angeles, California, Michael David (Lin) Maley and Patrick James (Jessie) Maley, Jr. both of Spring Hill;, and granddaughter, Sierra Torres Maley. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jeremy James Maley. Pallbearers will be Michael Maley, Patrick Maley, Jr., Doug Bossi, Jack Schaffer, Rob Tate, and Shane Tucker.
