Thomas Victor Rafferty

September 2, 1941 - January 18, 2015

Mr. Thomas Rafferty, age 73, a resident of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on September 2, 1941 in Macon, Missouri, Thomas was the son of the late Alfred and Bertha Washburn Rafferty. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and previously worked in production at General Motors. He liked playing the lottery and reading western novels. In general, Thomas was described as being a caring person. He is survived by his special friends: Joan Heizer and Bruce Menaugh.
