November 7, 2004 - January 16, 2015

Jeremy Law, 10 year old son of Wendell and Patricia Law passed away peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2015, at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home in Illinois. Visitation was held from 12:00 noon - 2:00 PM. Burial immediately followed the service in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements. Jeremy was born on November 7, 2004 in Rockford, Illinois. He was a special little boy who touched the world. He taught people what love truly is and inspired many. He was the world's heart. From the moment you laid eyes on him, there was an instant connection of love. Jeremy was the strongest and most brave young man you could ever meet. He will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends will find comfort knowing their little angel is now running, dancing, and playing. "Our son is set free to do all things that life held him from. Fly our Angel, Fly!" In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Scottie M. Welch; Sherry (Jonathan Tamyo) Welch, Robert J. (Jean) McGuire, Jason F. McGuire, Matt (Megan) Law, Nick Law; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy and Delores Brown, William Law; Aunt Debra Lester; Uncle Teddy Law; and Uncle Mikey Steines. The Law family would like to extend a special thanks to all the staff at VNA Hospice and the staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital.
