Debra Cooper

Ms Debra Ann Cothron Cooper, age 55, resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Keith Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 11, at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on April 2, 1959, in Maury County, she was the daughter of Helen Marie Cothron and the late Billy Joe Cothron. She was a seamstress by trade and a member of the First Family Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to music and watching TV. She loved dolphins, birds, and the beach. Her family will remember her for the love she showered each of them with, especially her children and grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Kevin Dewayne (Lawanda) Norman of Culleoka; daughter, Kendra Ann Cooper of Columbia; three brothers: Donnie Joe (Angela) Cothron, Terry (Libby) Cothron, and Marshall Wade "PeeWee" Cothron, all of Columbia; two sisters, Shelia Darlene Cothron of Columbia and Jan (Marty) Roberts of Culleoka; and three grandchildren: Makaila Cooper, Brilee Norman, and Brokk Norman. She is also survived by family and friends of Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by son, Brian "Bubba" Keith Norman.
