Mrs. Donna Lee Humphrey Bennett, age 52, wife of Andrew Bennett, and a resident of Jones Valley Road in Water Valley, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2014,at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor's Cemetery in Williamson County. The family will receive friends from 9AM until 12PM prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on November 12, 1962, in Williamson County, she was the daughter of the late James Hardin and Ethel Myroa Conner Humphrey. She spent her time caring for her husband of 35 years, Andrew "Andy" Bennett, Jr. and their children, and was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed music, dancing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a kind, compassionate woman who helped everyone she met. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son: Corey (Vickey) Bennett; one daughter: Andrea Nicole Bennett; 2 brothers: Larry (Rhonda) Humphrey and Jerry Humphrey; 5 sisters: Libby Davis, Sandy (Marshel) Anderson, Cheryl (Butch) Bryant, Glenda (Wayne) Clark, and Barbara (Ronnie) Blackburn; 5 grandchildren: Kassidy Warf, Madison Warf, Grayson McCormick, Andrew Bennett, Preston Bennett. She is also survived by her mother-in-law: Sarah Bennett; and 4 sisters-in-law: Judy Tomlin, Debbie Shepherd, Sarah Jane Bennett, and Sally Ann Bennett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Terry Humphrey. Pallbearers will be Marshel Anderson, Dewayne Anderson, Brandon Bennett, John Lee Scales, Eddy James, Ronnie Brown, Tyler Bennett, and Dillon Bennett.
