Linda Carnell

March 10, 1948 - December 26, 2014

Linda Carnell, age 66, resident of Chapel Hill, traded this life for Glory, on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor James Kinslow officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM prior to the service. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on March 10, 1948, in Barboursville, Kentucky, Linda was the daughter of Lillie Pauline Johnson of Indiana and the late Floyd Russell Bruner. She worked as the Assistant Director for First Assembly of God Kiddie College in Lewisburg until her retirement, and was married to her husband, Paul Carnell for 48 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed music, dancing, gardening, cooking, decorating, and spending time on the beach. Her family will remember her for her happy, love of life and her kind, giving nature. In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by a son: Paul Carnell, Jr. of Punta Gorda, Florida; daughter: Lisa Osborne of Columbia; brother: Floyd "Timmy" Bruner of Indiana; two sisters: Rhonda K. Carpenter and Sondra L. Burke, both of Indiana. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Larissa Osborne, Shelby Osborne, Elijah Osborne, and Dylan (Samantha) Carnell, and 1 great-grandchild, Lucas Carnell.
