Brandon Keith Burroughs, age 26, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 28th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens, which is located next to Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, December 27th from 4-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Brandon was born October 8, 1988 and was the son of Nina (Joe) Luffman and Keith (Kim) Burroughs. He graduated from Columbia Central High School in 2007 and attended Columbia State Community College and also Martin Methodist. He started working in industrial maintenance at Great Lakes in Manchester. Brandon was very proud of his job and worked hard to get it. He enjoyed going to the lake and racing street bikes. Most of all, he was a loving father to his son Breece Keith Allen Burroughs. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Along with his son and parents, Brandon is survived by his sister: Anna Marie Luffman of Columbia; step-sisters: Jordyn Hartsfield of Murfreesboro and Jamie of Columbia; maternal grandmother: Sue Bowser of Columbia; paternal grandfather: Ronald Burroughs of Columbia; step-grandmother: Barbara Payne of Lawrenceburg; aunts: Leann (Jason) Perry of OH, Cindy (Wade) Mayabb of OH, Bridgett Templeton of Shelbyville, and Christa (Kevin) Bowser of Columbia; uncles: Darick Hollar of OH, Scott Hollar of OH, and Kendall Burroughs of Columbia; mother of his son: Carly Mallard of Columbia; special cousin: Jordan Cole; and several other cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: George Hollar; paternal grandmother: Janice Adkins; and paternal great-grandmother: Mildred Adkins. Pallbearers will be Jordan Cole, Tommie Payne, Josh Thomason, Taylor Templeton, Justin Fox, Seth Moss, Jacob Anderson, Jack Woody, Badia Naddy, and Kendall Burroughs.
