Doyle Slater

June 4, 1968 - December 5, 2014

Doyle Kevin Slater, age 45, a resident of W. Laurel Drive in Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Gandy Church of Christ in Lawrenceburg with Larry Murdock officiating. Heritage Funeral Home of Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements. Born June 4, 1968 in Noblesville, IN, he was the son of Doyle Keith Slater of Prospect, TN and Patricia Smith Slater of Lawrenceburg. Doyle was a truck driver by trade and he loved to fish, golf and ride horses. In addition to his parents, Doyle is survived by his daughters: Kameron Slater of Martin, TN and Breanna Slater of Etheridge; son: Braden Myles Slater of Liberty Grove, TN; brother: Brian Slater of Prospect, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Patricia Slater, c/o First Farmers Bank, 1501 N. Locust St., Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
