Rhonda Jo Crain, age 49, a resident of Culleoka, TN passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Cates officiating. Burial will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens Mausoleum adjacent to Heritage Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born in Columbia, Rhonda was the daughter of the late Joe and Jean Johnson Zimmerlee. She previously worked as an LPN. Her family described her as being a good mother who loved "all" of her kids. She was also an excellent cook, especially known for her chocolate pies. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons: Tyler (Kanya) Crain of Columbia, Tate Crain of Mooresville, TN; brothers: Mark Zimmerlee of Texas and Randy Zimmerlee of Lynnville, TN; sisters-in-law: Rebecca Crain of Linden, Tammy Tuttle of Culleoka, and Julie (Gene) Hight of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwayne Crain; parents, Joe and Jean Zimmerlee; sister, Trudy McBride; and nephew, Chris Zimmerlee. Pallbearers will be Marcus Baker, Logan Scroggins, Justin Vandiver, Jonathan Stewart, Taylor Howell, Matthew Hight and Aaron Reed. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Hight, C.J. Baker, Eric Baker and Chase Dale.
