Obituary Notice Colleen Martin Mrs. Colleen Martin, age 57 and a resident of Culleoka passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at her residence. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. The family will also visit with friends on Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Colleen was born on January 28, 1957 in Asheville, NC, and was the daughter of the late David McCurry and the late Cora Hollifield McCurry. She worked as a nurse's aide. She loved to decorate, go to yard sales and being with family. Colleen is survived by her husband: Doug Martin; daughter: Tracey Fondren of Concord, NC; sisters: Dianne Mitchell of Ocala, FL; Patsy Young of Canton, NC; brother: Kenneth McCurry of NC; grandchildren: Brittney Joy, Clint Joy, Leigh-Ann Joy; Tyler Dujat; Amber Williams; Cameron Williams; In-Laws: Ed & Ann Van Maren of Columbia. In addition to her parents, Colleen is preceded in death by daughter: Cynthia Ann Williams and a brother David McCurry. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to be made to Heritage Funeral Home for Colleen's service.
