Douglas McKee

September 18, 1959 - August 23, 2014

Doug McKee, 54, a resident of Williamsport, TN and the owner of McKee Plumbing passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 23rd in his home. Doug was the loving husband to his wife Sandy McKee and proud father of daughter Amanda McKee and son Austin McKee. He was also the grandpa to grandson Keaton Wayne and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Doug was the beloved son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Wayne (Marge) McKee and brother of Mike McKee, Ron McKee, Lori McKee, and Lisa McKee. Doug was an avid golfer who loved to tee it up at Stoneybrook Golf Course, hang with "Horsey" and "Ronnie" and gang at Crash bar and the wonderful folks at Backstreet Tavern" where he was affectionately known as Just One More.' He was also a devoted Middle Tennessee Cleveland Browns Backer and a Pabst Blue Ribbon beer drinker. Doug was a kind soul with a loving heart for his friends and family. He will be very sadly missed. A Visitation service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 609 Bear Creek Pike in Columbia, TN on Wednesday, August 27th from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. A celebration at the VFW on Williamsport Pike will be held immediately following the Visitation service. Doug will be cremated and his ashes spread across a location determined by his wife and children at a later date.
