Mr. James Grippo, age 66 of Clearfield, PA passed away August 7, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center of Nashville. Services will be held at Grace Community Church in Brentwood, on Sunday, August 10th at 3:00 PM, Pastor Scott Patty is officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, August 10th, from 1:30 PM until the service hour at the church. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Grippo was born October 18, 1947 in Ridgway, PA and was the son of the late William and the late Marie Pyne Grippo. He was a Vietnam Veteran and worked as a County Agent for Penn State University. He was a member of the Clearfield Christian and Missionary Alliance. James enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family. Mr. Grippo is survived by his wife: Susan B. Williams Grippo; children: James (April) Grippo of Columbia; Daniel Grippo of Nashville; Ryan (Alison) Grippo of Franklin; brothers: William Grippo of Florida; Michael Grippo of Pennsylvania; Mark Grippo of Virginia; sister: Mary Ellen Blandford of Virginia; grandchildren: Lia Grace Grippo; Sara Claire Grippo, Jack Grippo; Maria Bell Grippo all of Columbia; Grace Bell Grippo of Franklin.
