Aharon Oskian

Aharon Oskian, age 82, and a resident of Robin Court in Columbia, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 3rd at 2 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Sunday one hour prior to the service from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Mr. Oskian was born on April 12, 1932 in Athens, Greece to the late Stephen Oskian and Roza Kachatouryan Oskian. He earned his bachelors' degree and was employed by General Motors. He spent a lot of time writing stories and poems. He also liked to garden, collect antiques and stamps, and listen to classical music. He married the love of his life in April of 1959, and most of his time was spent with his family. He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his wife: Annoula Oskian; son: Manasel Oskian of Columbia; sister: Meline Mayopolo of Athens, Greece; grandchildren: Aharon (Sarah) Oskian of Columbia, Katinna (James) Rains of Murfreesboro, Stephan Oskian of Columbia, and Annoula Oskian of Columbia; great-grandchildren: Isabella, Elaina, Rylen, Juliana, and McKenna. Pallbearers will be Aharon Oskian, Stephan Oskian, Manasel Oskian, Alex Slagle, and James Rains.
