Amanda Kate Holmes

December 9, 1983 - July 17, 2014

Amanda Kate Holmes, age 30, a resident of Nashville, passed away July 17, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The family will celebrate her life with a service on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held on Monday two hours prior to the service from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born in Nashville on December 9, 1983, Amada Kate was the daughter of Stacy Lee Holmes and the late Angela Renee Ellis Holmes. Amanda Kate was a very loving person who had many friends. She was a daddy's girl, and everyone who knew her loved her. She had an infectious laugh and a bubbly personality. She was a beautiful and outgoing young woman who loved with her whole heart. Katy is now at peace in her mother's arms. Her bright personality and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her father she leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother: Adam Holmes of Nashville, TN; maternal grandparents: Timothy & Rosa Ennor of New Jersey; aunt: Nikki (Miguel) Maldonado of New Jersey; cousins: Jesseka Gomez, Ashley Jones, Dusty Ellis; best friend: Aleyna Beatty; and her beloved dog: Mimi. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her uncle: Leslie Raymond Ellis, Jr. and cousin: Harley Duane Garton.
