Claude Moore

March 18, 1963 - June 19, 2014

Mr. Claude Efren "Meatloaf" Moore, age 51, husband of Beverly James Moore, and a resident of Dawson Street in Columbia passed away Thursday morning, June 19, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A homegoing celebration will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Bellanfant officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Maury County, Claude was born on March 18, 1963 and was the son of James (Addie) Bellanfant and Mary Moore Armstrong. He previously worked as a brick mason for McClure Construction. Claude enjoyed working on automobiles and motorcycles, doing carpentry work and cooking on the grill. He also loved spending time with his friends and grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, Claude is survived by his son: Chamar Avery; daughters: Zemeka Bryant, Idreka Moore; step-children: Hollis Hampton, Ryan (Eric) Wyss; brothers: Rev. Claude (Debra) Bellanfant, Kevin (Jameco) Armstrong, James Claude, Jr., David Farris; sister: Sherisse Armstrong; step-sisters: Phyllis Whitfield, Lisa Turner; seven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and devoted family and friends. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
