He had a love for the beach, but most enjoyed coaching baseball for his son's teams. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a son: Nick. He is survived by his son: Connor Beene of Thompson's Station; a brother: Chuck Beene of Knoxville; two nephews: Charles Alexander Beene and Austin Harrison Beene; and Karen Goodwin of Antioch, who brought him so much joy and happiness, and whom he loved and cherished deeply.
