Liam O'Connell

Mr. Liam Michael O'Connell, age 39 of Columbia, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. The family will honor his life with a celebration beginning at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. They will receive friends for visitation from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Liam was born June 12, 1974 in Milwaukee, WI and was the son of John Lawrence O'Connell and Pamela Elizabeth Flannery O'Connell, both of whom preceded him in death. He was trained and worked as a Certified Nursing Technician at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin. Liam shared the Good News of God's Kingdom as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He will be remembered as talkative and always comfortable in a social setting. His work ethic led him to be loved by all those around him. He had a passion for life and shared his "million dollar smile" with anybody near him. He was a mentor, helper, father, husband and friend with a heart of gold. He is survived by his wife: Tamie J. O'Connell; and daughter: Tatum Elizabeth O'Connell, both of Columbia; 5 siblings: John (Carolyn) O'Connell of Hartford, WI, Heather (Charles) Hammack of Muskego, WI, Patrick O'Connell of Cudahy, WI, Megan O'Connell (Nat) Tharpe of Milwaukee, WI and Ryan O'Connell of Aurora, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him as a role model and big brother, and several great nieces and great nephews.
