Odie Lee Watson

Mr. Odie Lee "Buddy" Watson, age 67, husband of Judy Watson, and a resident of Summertown, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence. The family will celebrate his life with services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Maury County, Buddy was born on June 21, 1946 and was the son of the late Malcomb Russell and Naomi Whitaker Watson. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and he owned a taxi company. Buddy especially loved playing with his grandchildren. Buddy was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam conflict. In addition to his wife, Judy, Buddy is survived by his sons: Malcomb, Rickey, and Randall Watson; daughter: Glenda York; brothers: Doris and Larry Watson; sister: Betty Jean Cox; fourteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
