Jeremy Stihl LeCroy, age 20 of Columbia, passed away Tuesday morning, May 20, 2014 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Spring Hill. Jeremy was born January 5, 1994 in Monroe, Louisiana and was the son of Clint and Stacey Sanders LeCroy. He was a 2012 graduate of Santa Fe High School and worked around the construction sites for Trojan Construction. According to his family, Jeremy was a focused young man who set goals without being greedy, and cared for others without being needy. He had not only a love for life, but a passion for it. Bundled up in one person, Jeremy was the "stupidest, funniest, most serious and smartest 20 year old" you could know. His cockiness and "smooth talking" allowed him to always have the quick, witty response. He could talk you into placing the "no-win" bet with him - "heads I win, tails you lose" - and make you feel good about your chances. In Jeremy's mind, he knew that he was "the man" and king of his world. He loved to wear pink just for the attention and ribbing he took from it. According to his family he was a gentleman, never meeting a woman he didn't like and always treating them with respect. No matter how you felt, if you were in the presence of Jeremy, you were going to smile and laugh. He cared for others and took family very seriously. He adored his little (Mini-Me) brother, Christian, and loved his momma deeply. He was "rock" in any situation. She had no problem doing whatever he asked because she always knew he appreciated it. He had a passion for being outdoors hunting and fishing, and was "all about LSU." "Geaux Tigers" wasn't just a cheer, it was a way of life! Although he had been in Tennessee for the past four years, his heart remained that of a Louisiana Boy. No matter how you knew Jeremy, you will be sure to remember his remarkable zest for living, his love of others and his gator smile. To celebrate his life, his family will receive friends at Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, May 24, 2014 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. Following visitation, family and friends will journey to a celebration bonfire at 2515 Pigg Schoolhouse Rd, Santa Fe, TN 38482. It is requested that you celebrate Jeremy's life with laughter and smiles. In addition to his parents: Clint and Stacey; he is survived by two brothers: Skylar (Kimberly) LeCroy of Pitkin, LA and Christian LeCroy of Columbia; grandparents: James Paul Sanders, Pat Sanders, Ralph & Charlotte LeCroy; and Doug & Lucky Jones; aunts and uncles: Keith (Julie) LeCroy, Michelle (Matt) Audirsch, Trey (Amy) LeCroy, Dana (Steve) Privitor, Donna (David) Horne, Tish (Bobby) Hubbard and James (Angie) Sanders; numerous special cousins he was close to; and 3 wonderful nephews: Kolton Christopher, Kamdyn Drake and Karter Stihl LeCroy.
