Delilah Ann Hay, age 74, wife of Wesley Paul Hay, and a resident of Hermitage, TN, previously of the Santa Fe Community, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at her residence. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Santa Fe Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 16th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and also on Saturday, May 17th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on February 16, 1940 in Dekalb County, Delilah was the daughter of the late John and Ruby Williams Kyle. She married Wesley Paul Hay on August 13, 1957. Delilah attended Emmanuel Church of Christ and previously worked as an x-ray technologist and lab technician. She was a woman of faith who enjoyed singing and attending church. Delilah also enjoyed cooking, visiting with her friends, and family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Michael Paul Hay, Jeffrey Allan Hay, Gregory John Hay; four brothers: Robert Jay Kyle, Jess B. Kyle, Glenn Dale Kyle, Ben W. Kyle; grandchildren: Desiree Nichole Hay, Kimberly Olivia Hay; and great-grandchildren: Kaydance Elizabeth Keoneth and Kal-El Keoneth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Kimberly Dee Hay; brothers: Charles Timothy Kyle, Bernice Awood Kyle; and sisters: Rossie Dean Cripps and Lena Marvine Kelly.
