Muriel June Hamilton

July 12, 1927 - May 9, 2014

Muriel June Hamilton, age 86, a resident of Oak Trail Drive in Columbia, passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski. Muriel will be entombed in a private family ceremony at Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on July 12, 1927 in Buffalo, New York, Muriel was the daughter of the late Eugene and Hildegard Ardison Hils. She was of the Methodist faith and worked as a homemaker the majority of her life. Muriel enjoyed reading in her spare time. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband: John D. Hamilton; daughter: Debby (Lance) Lombardo of Columbia; two grandchildren: Anthony Lombardo, Joseph Lombardo; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Shirley and Jean.
