Randy Eugene Potts

Randy Potts, age 56, a resident of Valley Creek Rd in Culleoka, passed away Friday morning, May 2, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 PM, May 4th from the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, with Brother Bruce Peltier officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Cemetery in Williamson County. The family will visit with friends from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Saturday, May 3rd. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Randy was born March 2, 1958 in Maury County son of the late J.B. Potts and Myrtle Potts. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Anyone who knew Randy will remember his love for animals, hunting, fishing and gardening. Along with his mother he is survived by wife: Linda Potts; son: Councilman Jason (Amanda) Potts of Nashville; daughters: Crystal (TJ) Toney of Columbia; Autumn Potts of Nunley; brothers: William (Karen) Potts, Don Potts and Anthony Potts all of Columbia; grandchildren: Ty'won Toney; Donovan Toney, Jasmine Toney, Amalie Rose Potts, step-grandchildren: Brackon Martin, Dakota Martin, Harley Johnston, Hunter Victory and Michael Damon; mother of his children: Doris Baker. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother Buddy Potts. Pallbearers will be Jason Potts, Don Potts, Anthony Potts, William Potts, Michael Damon, TJ Toney, Gary Dodson and Terry Dodson.
