Phyllis J. Woodward-Luffman

March 18, 1947 - April 17, 2014

Phyllis J. Woodward Luffman, age 67 of Lawrenceburg, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Countryside Healthcare in Lawrenceburg. The family will celebrate her life with services at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Leoma, TN. Burial will follow in the Woodward Family Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Phyllis was born March 18, 1947 in Lawrence County and was the daughter of W.W. and Virginia Olena Fox Woodward. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church and loved her grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed fishing and watching the wildlife of deer and turkeys, however, she especially enjoyed reptiles. She is survived by three daughters: Lora (Keith) Matthews, Terrie (David) Bennett and Valeriea Young all of Lawrenceburg; 5 brothers: Wallace (Amy) Woodward of Leoma, Tony (Cathy) Woodward of Lawrenceburg, Randy (Susie) Woodward and Billy (Ann) Woodward of Leoma, and Glen Woodward of Lawrence Co.; a sister: Angi Wright of Loretto; 5 grandchildren: Gerri Smith, Phillip Bennett, Cassondra Bennett, Jazmine McGee and Isaac Daniel; and 5 great-grandchildren: Levi Smith, Jaxon Clayton, Chanceton Bennett, Carter Bennett and Canon Bennett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother: Dennis Woodward.
