Bobby Brown

June 6, 1934 - March 29, 2014

Bobby Brown, age 79, husband of Janet "Jan" Shamblin Brown and a resident of Culleoka, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 31st at 11:00 am from the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, officiated by Rev.Terry Perry and Bobby Sands. Private family burial will follow at a later time. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 and one hour prior to the service on Monday at Heritage Funeral Home. Bobby was born on June 6, 1934 in Mt. Pleasant, TN to the late Edgar Brown and Grace Voss Brown. Bobby graduated from Hay Long High School in 1952. He was the Vice-President of the 1st National Bank of Columbia and Mt. Pleasant. He was the former owner of Maury Vending Company. Bobby was a member of the West Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and a charter member of Mt. Pleasant Country Club. Bobby loved golfing, fishing, and bird watching. He was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife: Janet "Jan" Brown; Sons: Tim (Tara) Brown of Spring Hill; Mark (Courtney) Brown of Memphis; daughter: Beth (Adam) Wieck of Nashville; twin sister: Betty (Jack) Stanfill of Mt. Juliet; eight grandchildren: Brittany (Jesse) Nichols; Mallory (Robert) Harris; Blair Brown; Mitch (Brook) Brown; Mary Morgan Brown; Georgia Brown; Kayla Wieck; Hayden Wieck; two great-grandchildren; nephew: Todd (Lisa) Stanfill; niece: Allison (Barry) DeVault. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of The Shop.
