Mary Elizabeth Llorca

October 26, 1952 - March 13, 2014

Mary Elizabeth Llorca, age 61 of Cobb Dr. in Columbia, passed away March 2, 2014 at her residence. Mary-Beth was born October 26, 1952 in Chicago Heights, IL and was the daughter of Louis Llorca and Helen Mary Hencke Llorca. She had worked for General Motors, but will be best remembered as a champion for her pets, and animals in general. Although she never married or had children of her own, Mary-Beth gave of herself in caring for animals. To recognize her contribution to the care and welfare of pets, her friends (and even those who didn't know her) are asked to bring a gift of a new blanket, food bowls, leashes, dog & cats toys, cat food (no dog food) or monetary donations to Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, March 24, 2014 between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. There will also be a time of remembrance and celebration for friends and co-workers on Monday, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
