Sheri Ventrice

August 8, 1964 - March 9, 2014

Sheri Renee Ventrice, age 49, wife of James Ventrice, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th at 7pm in the Hunter Room at Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends from 6pm until the service hour at 7pm. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Born in Hammond, IN on August 8, 1964, Sheri was the daughter of Jenny Proto and Bobby Proto, Sr., who raised her. She was a kind hearted woman that enjoyed helping others. She loved being a host to people when they came to her house. Some of Sheri's hobbies included cleaning, cooking, and shopping. She had recently started doing arts and crafts projects and painting often. Sheri is survived by two daughters: Jenny Ventrice and Melissa Hinson; brother: Bobby Proto, Jr., sister: Roxanna Zillanueva; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Lawrence Roy Zitt, Jr.
