Debbie White Terry, age 56, a resident of Sutherland Drive of Thompsons Station, previously of Columbia, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 at her residence. A celebration of life visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 from 5-7 PM at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia. The immediate family will gather for a private service and burial at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A native of Columbia, TN, Debbie was born on March 16, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Willis White and the late Ann Liggett White Robinson. After her father's passing, her mother married Earl Robinson, who raised Debbie most of her life. Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Columbia Central High School, and was cherished by a host of life-long friends. She found her passion as a Southwest Airlines flight attendant and loved excelling in her career. She enjoyed playing tennis, and her hobbies were interior decoration and home restorations. Debbie's calling though was that of a loving mother and grandmother. She cherished her daughter and grandchildren, and was very involved in their daily activities. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter: Kristie Terry Turpen and grandchildren: Hannah, Hudson, and Holden Turpen all of Thompsons Station; her father: Earl Robinson and his companion: Gina Buckley both of Columbia; her brother: Dan White of Columbia. With also special mention to: Bill Terry of Columbia, Adam Terry of Franklin, and Tony Blackburn of Columbia, Bobby Fitzgerald of Columbia, and as well as many beloved cousins and other members of the Liggett family.
